The Story Behind the Design

This space was born from a desire to create something both grounded and unexpected. Inspired by tactile contrasts and quiet tension—vintage textiles, sculptural forms, moody velvets, and softened blush tones—we imagined a room that feels as collected as it is composed.

In collaboration with designer Stacy Hillmer, we layered raw and refined, old and new, to evoke a sense of place that’s soulful, elegant, and deeply personal—true to the spirit of Haute Home.

Designed in collaboration with my talented friend and design partner, Stacy Hillmer, this home office is a study in quiet confidence with a wink of nostalgia. We layered tailored textures, saddle leather, funky art, and collected vintage finds to evoke a space that feels grounded, thoughtful, and effortlessly lived-in.

With rich tones and timeless materials—natural wovens, pottery, hide leather, warm wood—it’s a room that feels a little bit scholarly, a little bit soulful, and completely at ease.
